In your own words, what do you do at Sixmo?

I’m a plan examiner. I work for the building departments of several (14) cities/counties in Ohio and WVa. I review the construction drawings for code compliance before the building permits are issued and buildings are built. So in short, I check the Architects & Engineers work to make sure they comply with the building codes.

If you didn’t live here, where would you live instead?

on a hundred acres somewhere that I can see the mountains

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Leatherworking, bike, woodworking, my dogs and spend time with my husband who is now home after spending over 15 years working away from home.
Name one personal and one professional goal you have for 2022:

Get my leatherworking hobby business off the ground to supplement retirement when it gets here. I’m too old to have professional goals, making it through each day is enough.

What would you do first if you won the lottery?

Open a dog rescue and bird of prey sanctuary.

What does success mean to you?

Knowing that people trust me and my work.
